Review tooling and part geometry together
For a casting enquiry, include nominal wall sections, parting line constraints and areas requiring secondary machining. Holes, threads and precision interfaces should be distinguished from as-cast surfaces.
Make the quotation comparable
Provide the alloy specification, batch and projected quantities, cosmetic criteria and required finish. Ask for tooling scope, secondary operations, inspection and shipping to be identified in the quotation.
