Custom Parts: Application Planning
Prepare manufacturing enquiries for housings, brackets, fixtures and prototypes, with drawing and material requirements that support review.
Housings and enclosures
Identify connector openings, mating edges, fastener access and cosmetic surfaces. Include assembly CAD when it clarifies how the part fits. Specify the finish and areas where coating thickness matters.
Brackets, fixtures and interfaces
Mark locating faces, datum references, holes and threads. Explain what the fixture holds or what the bracket connects to. A functional description helps the reviewer identify questions the CAD alone may not answer.
